Landscape design for a 121-unit residential development with extensive ground floor commercial space. Materials within the external spaces complement the facade materials, with the use of brick, metal and timber.
The buildings will be, by volume, the largest CLT (cross-laminated timber) project globally. The design approach uses the sun path analysis diagrams to inform the arrangement of paved public space areas and raised planters, creating useable areas for workers and residents.
Light-foliage trees and planting help light surface treatments to keep the spaces bright and airy.
